Stackable Industry Credentials Through Festo and NC3
Festo Industry Certification Program
The National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3) and Festo Didactic’s Festo Industry Certification Program (FICP) collaborate to create high-impact, industry-recognized
training and certification pathways in advanced manufacturing and automation technologies.
Through this partnership:
Curriculum + Certification Integration: NC3 works closely with Festo to align the FICP training modules with stackable, industry-recognized certifications. These certifications validate technical competencies in fields like pneumatics, mechatronics, fluid power, and Industry 4.0. Hands-On Training with Industry Equipment: Festo provides state-of-the-art training equipment, such as MecLab, MPS systems, and AC/DC trainers. These systems are integrated into NC3-certified programs to give students direct experience with the tools used in modern industries. Instructor Certification & Support: NC3 certifies instructors through “Train-the-Trainer” events, ensuring they are fully equipped to deliver FICP-aligned content with confidence and consistency. Workforce-Ready Skills: Students who complete FICP coursework through an NC3-partner institution graduate with not only classroom knowledge but also validated, job-ready skills—backed by certifications recognized by employers nationwide. Bridging the Skills Gap: This collaboration bridges the gap between education and employment, ensuring that students aren’t just learning theory—they’re mastering the same processes, technologies, and standards used by today’s leading manufacturers.
